Rome and London – Pope Francis appeared on Sunday in Saint Peter’s Square in the Vatican for the blessing of Easter, after a previous brief meeting with Vice President JD Vance.
The Apostolic Press Office in the Vatican said in a statement that Vans arrived in the Casa Santa Marta in the Vatican shortly after 11:30 am local time.

“The meeting, which lasted for a few minutes, gave them the opportunity to exchange greetings of Easter,” the office said.
Around the back, the 88 -year -old arrived at the Church of St. Peter, overlooking the scene where the Easter celebrations were.

He sits on his wheelchair, blessed the crowd and said, “Bona Paskua!” Or “Happy Easter!” Easter grace included a call to end conflicts in the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
He partially said: “The principle of humanity may never fail to be the distinctive feature of our daily actions.” “In the face of the harsh conflicts that include defenseless civilians, attacking schools, hospitals and human workers, we cannot allow ourselves to forget that the goals are not goals, but people, each of whom possesses human spirit and dignity.”
