Driver suspected of being under the influence crashes into Greeley lake

Denver (KDVR) – It is said that a driver suspected of being under the influence was leading to a lake on Friday.

One of the viewers sent Fox31 pictures of the teams trying to pull a car from a lake in Grill. The viewer said that it happened around 11:45 am near Street 20 and 28 Street, behind the WestlaKe Village Shopping Center. For all Google Maps, the lake is the Greley Lake West tank.

The Grilli Police Department confirmed its crash to Fox31 and said that the driver, who was suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, lost control of the car and crashed into the lake.

The police said that four passengers were inside the car and that everyone went out safely.

The driver was arrested later; However, the police did not specify what the charges are.
