Austin – The University of Texas in Austin issued a statement on Friday regarding the safety and security of its students.
In the statement, the university said that families, students, faculty, employees and visitors are “truly frustrated”.
“When individuals threaten students’ safety in violent and criminal behavior, our law enforcement was steadfast in making the necessary arrests to remove these threats. But the arrests are not enough.
