What Is ‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ About?
Sullivan’s Crossing is a romantic drama show based on the novel series by Robyn Carr, who was also the mastermind behind the Virgin River books that inspired Netflix’s hit show of the same name.
Originally released and filmed in Canada, Sullivan’s Crossing follows neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan (Morgan Kohan), who finds herself entangled in a legal battle. She escapes the stress by returning to her hometown in Nova Scotia to reconnect with her estranged father, Harry “Sully” Sullivan (Scott Patterson), on the titular campgrounds where she grew up. While there, Maggie finds herself torn between her new family and her old one.
Who Is in the Cast of ‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ Season 3?
Fans can expect to see the same cast members from season 2 in season 3, including Morgan as Maggie and Scott as Sully. The main cast also includes Chad Michael Murray as Cal Jones, Tom Jackson as Frank Cranebear and Andrea Menard as Edna Cranebear.

Is There a Trailer for ‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ Season 3?
Fans of Sullivan’s Crossing were thrilled to see a trailer released in April 2025 ahead of the premiere. The video started off on a steamy note, with Maggie and Cal in bed together as Maggie said in a voiceover, “I made the decision to move here and be with you, work at the Crossing. I’m happy with that choice.” However, the couple, who finally let their feelings for each other be known in the season 2 finale, will have to deal with Maggie’s pregnancy with Andrew’s baby.
Additionally, the trailer answered a huge question that viewers had at the end of season 2 — Is Sully alive? Yes! After running into a burning building to save Finn, Sully was caught in an explosion that seemingly ended his life. However, the trailer confirmed that he is alive and well in season 3, albeit grappling with some regrets over that night. Sully will also have to deal with the Crossing’s shady new neighbors this season after Glenn bought the land.
The trailer also teased romances on the horizon for both Sully and Sydney, as well as a reunion between Cal and his parents.
