Iran threatens to ‘pursue and kill’ Netanyahu after prime minister declares Israel, US are crushing regime

Iranian officials threatened to “pursue and kill” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as Israel launched a group of large-scale missiles towards western Iran on Sunday morning.

“If this child murderer is alive, we will continue to pursue and kill him with full force,” Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps wrote online about Netanyahu, according to the Associated Press, citing the IRNA news agency.

The threatening pledge came days after the 76-year-old Israeli leader declared that the United States and Israel were destroying Iran and reshaping the Middle East.

“We are in historic days, days that will go down in Israel’s annals,” Netanyahu said in a speech to the nation on Thursday. “In Operation Visiting Lion, our roar is getting stronger.” “We are crushing the terrorist regime in Iran. We are striking and crushing its proxy, Hezbollah, in Lebanon.”

The Iran war entered its third week on Saturday, which began when the United States and Israel launched a joint military operation that targeted military infrastructure across Iran and eliminated Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and 40 senior officials in an airstrike on a fortified compound in Tehran.

Netanyahu has successfully avoided ongoing threats from the Iranian military, including missile and drone attacks on Israel.

He added: “Threats come and go, but when we become a regional power, and in some areas a global power, we have the power to keep risks away from us and secure our future.”

“In 1993, I published an article in a newspaper and wrote: ‘The greatest danger to Israel’s existence is not in the Arab countries, but in Iran.’” Since then, for more than 30 years, the murderous regime of the Ayatollahs has indeed worked to harm the United States and the West, but first and foremost, it has worked to advance its plan to destroy Israel.

On Sunday, the Israeli military launched “a wave of large-scale strikes targeting the Iranian terrorist regime’s infrastructure in western Iran.”

President Trump said Saturday that Iran is begging for an end to the war, but he is not willing to talk to them until the Iranian regime gets serious about the proposed terms.

He added: “Iran wants to conclude an agreement, and I do not want to conclude it because the conditions are not good enough yet.” Trump told NBC News.

The US-US agreement requires Iran to completely abandon any nuclear ambitions.

Trump reiterated that the terms of the terms had to be “very solid” for him to be able to agree to them and end the military campaign.
