Andy Cohen Reveals John Mayer’s Reaction After Private Dinner With ‘Southern Charm’ Stars Shep Rose, Craig Conover, And Austen Kroll: “The Most Chaotic Energy”

Andy Cohen talked about his messy dinner with… Southern charm Stars Shep Rose, Craig Conover and Austin Kroll…and how his good friend John Mayer, who crashed the party, felt about the charismatic trio.

On a recent episode of his radio show Andy, Andy Cohen Live!, Cohen shared that he took Rose, Conover and Kroll to dinner at San Vicente Bungalows, an exclusive club in New York City.

“They sit down, and immediately they go wild. They start going on about something, and I say, ‘Hey, guys,'” Cohen said, describing the dining room at San Vicente Bungalows as “elegant and sophisticated,” in contrast to the behavior of his guests. “I say, ‘Guys, put him down.’ And Austin’s like, “Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.” We must be calm. Guys, come on. We must be calm.”

They were soon joined by Mayer, who happened to be a close friend of Cohen’s. According to Watch what’s happening live The host, the “Gravity” singer, was asking them questions about… southern charm, Which he had never seen before.

“John says: ‘Do you share a house together on the show?’ “John is trying to figure out what it is,” Cohen said. “Craig says, ‘Well, they’re shooting it like a movie.’ And I’m like, ‘What? They’re shooting it like a movie? There was a lot of misinformation coming in. It was very funny. He was trying to figure it out.’

About an hour after dinner, Kroll walked up to Mayer and asked him what he thought of him and his friends. Per Cohen-Mayer told him they had the “most chaotic energy” ever. He said: I don’t understand your speech patterns. “I’m not uninterested…but I don’t understand your rhythms,” Cohen recalls.

Meyer wasn’t the only one who ruined his dinner. Cohen shared that Julia Roberts and Diane Sawyer were sitting at the next table, and when they stopped on their way out to say hello, Southern charm The men were astonished.

“I tell them, ‘Hey guys. “I want you to meet my friend Julia.” They all turn around. “There’s Julia Roberts,” Cohen said. “I’ll give them up. They’re a southern gentleman. All three of them stand up as quickly as they can, and rise to bow to the royalty, which they do. Then Diane Sawyer bats them away, and says to each of them: ‘I’m Diane Sawyer.’

Speaking to Conover and Kroll’s turbulent dynamic, Cohen said the two men are “capable of being around each other,” but their relationship is “more than fraught.” Fortunately, they were able to pull it together and be (mostly) on their best behavior on their lavish night out with Cohen and his fellow celebrities!
