Former Real Housewives of New York star Jill Zarin is facing backlash after posting, and later deleting, a video criticizing Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance.
In the video, which was captured and shared on social media before being removed, Zarin said she felt the performance was inappropriate for a family audience and expressed frustration that much of the show was in Spanish. She also questioned the creative direction of the halftime segment, suggesting it felt political to her and saying she would have preferred to understand the lyrics.
Zarin additionally commented on the choreography and styling of the performance, arguing that certain elements were not suitable for younger viewers watching the game. Her remarks quickly circulated online and drew strong reactions, with many viewers accusing her of being culturally dismissive and out of touch.

During the same video, Zarin also made offhand remarks about Lady Gaga’s appearance during the broadcast, speculating about cosmetic work and joking that she initially didn’t recognize her.

Zarin was not the only Bravo personality to comment on the halftime show. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Taylor Armstrong also posted criticism to her Instagram Story, questioning the language and imagery used in the performance. Armstrong later deleted her post as well.
Neither Zarin nor Armstrong has issued a formal follow-up statement since removing their comments, but the moment has continued to spark debate online about representation, language, and expectations for major televised performances.
