Eva Marcille marked her daughter’s 12th birthday with a special trip to New York City.
The actress and television personality shared a series of photos on Instagram celebrating Marley Rae Sterling’s birthday weekend, which included sightseeing, and a Broadway show starring Kandi Burruss.
“New York owes us nothing,” Eva wrote alongside the images. “Marley Ray Sterling is a big 12 year old Princess. Thank you @Kandi for such an amazing experience at and Juliet. It was epic and priceless and absolutely an evening to remember.”
She went on to reflect on the love surrounding her daughter during the trip, writing, “When it comes to love for Marley Ray, the village runs deep. From TikTok dances in Times Square to surprise dinners to surprise friends from across the country Marley is loved and growing into such a beautiful flower. More pictures and videos to come. My first born, mommy’s angel happy birthday.”
Marley’s biological father, Kevin McCall, also reposted photos from Eva’s page and shared an emotional birthday message of his own.
“Happy 12 Birthday My Angel! I’m just making sure NOTHING stops me from meeting you again one day I’m your #1 Fan you and your sister have made my life such an incredible experience…everything that’s weak in me is dying cuz I’m obsessed with being a Father. Eva welcomed Marley with McCall on February 1, 2015, though the two parted ways shortly after.
Marcille later married Mike Sterling. The pair tied the knot in October 2018, roughly two years after they began dating. They welcomed Mikey Jr. earlier that year and expanded their family in 2019 with the birth of Maverick. Sterling also formally adopted Marley in 2019.
In 2023, Marcille and Sterling divorced but have since reconciled.
On December 25, 2025, Eva shared family photos featuring herself, Mike, and all three children with the caption, “Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from The Sterlings,” she captioned the carousel.
