Community member helps CHP recover stolen truck, trailer, horses

A member of the community helped the authorities alert to restore a stolen truck, trailer and two imaginations on Tuesday.

According to the Antilop Valley Station in CHPA person called them after recognizing property and animals stolen in an online community.

“Thanks to their attention and their willingness to help, we were able to locate the stolen property and restore them quickly – and safely return them to the legal owners,” the authorities said in a post on social media.

While property and horses were found deserted, the suspect was not present, as CHP confirmed. No description was available immediately, and the exact location of the stolen property and horses was not revealed.

Those who have more information about the accident are required to contact the CHP Valley Station by calling 661-743-6060.

Although there is no suspect description, officials are happy that a community member talked about what they saw, and they encourage others to do the same.

“This incident is a reminder that when societies work and enforce the law together, great things happen,” I read social media at CHP. “To be a good neighbor meant sometimes talking, staying aware and calling when nothing feels fine.”
