(Crohn’s) – October is National Pizza Month, and food delivery giant DoorDash has delivered thousands of pizzas to homes across the country. DoorDash recently released its list of the 50 best local pizzerias in the country.
Six of those pizzerias are in the Bay Area.
- Slice of New York Pizza (San Jose)
- Diamond Slice Pizza (Oakland)
- Flour + Water Pizza Shop (San Francisco)
- Golden Boy Pizza (San Francisco)
- Square By Guys (Auckland)
- Tony’s Pizza Napoletana (San Francisco)
It was no surprise to any locals that Tony’s Pizza Napoletana made the list. Last month, Tony’s was named one of the top 10 pizzerias in the world.
Golden Boy Pizza is known for its “famous square clam and garlic pie,” DoorDash wrote.
All pizzerias rated on DoorDash are locally owned within their area. They must all have fewer than 10 locations and at least 1,000 customer reviews between January and September of this year.
DoorDash has not ranked its pizza restaurants in any particular order. The full menu can be found on DoorDash Website.
