(Crohn)-The cause of a fire spread to Mountain Fyu’s multi-capacity house due to the incorrectly disposed of smoking materials in the recycling box abroad, according to firefighters.
At 4:35 pm, the Ministry of Firefighters, Mountain View, responded to a two -story house in the 1100th building of California Street in an active fire report. He arrived after a few minutes, firefighters found that the fire had spread to the side of the house and in the attic.
“The design of the building, which dates back to a century, allowed the fire to spread quickly in the voids and on the second floor of the house,” said firefighters.
To ensure full extinguishing because they formed the fire, the firefighting sets cut open ceilings, walls and ceiling, according to MVFD. Thermal imaging cameras were used to monitor possible fire behind the dry walls.
Three residents were displaced by the fire. No injuries were reported.
“The recycling box is designed to be the origin of the fire,” the officials said. “The cause of the fire was accidentally, due to the improper disposal of smoking materials.”
The fire caused an estimated $ 150,000 of the structure damage, according to the fire department.
