San Francisco (Crohn– House builders see effects on costs due to definitions. The costs of materials such as wood, steel and glass rose, and President Trump announced a new tariff starting on Wednesday.
Starting October 1, there will be a 50 percent tariff on kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanity and 30 percent tariffs on imported upholstered furniture. Experts say the cost will eventually decrease the buyers in the Gulf region.
The cost of building a house is not cheap in the Gulf region and the prepair founder works in San Francisco, Sharon Clark, with sellers to update their homes offered for sale.
Clark heard many complaints from workers in industry about construction costs rising due to a new tariff that President Trump has placed. New customs duties will be implemented this week, on things like kitchen and West wardrobes.
Clark said: “I really didn’t get my attention when I saw this news story is vanity in the bathroom because we replace vanity in the bathroom all the time, so this may become more expensive.”
The President attributed the customs tariff to the need to maintain more actions in the United States, a reason supported by the US Cabinet coalition, which says 250,000 jobs in the cabinet will be rescued.
Clark does not see a transformation into more purchase, but if that happens, it predicts high prices.
Clark said: “We have the minimum wage, and we have benefits and secure and all other costs that must be covered by American companies.”
Clark predicts that the definitions will cause a decrease in demand.
When it comes to how this affects home prices, the president of the Bay East of Association Tracey Esling does not witness an increase – so far.
“I think we will definitely see them raising home prices, but I don’t think this will be now. I would like to say that you will see it in 2026,” said Isling.
“She learned to storage builders on the elements, and expects this year to happen due to the customs tariff.
