De Mine, Iowa (from) – Dr. Ian Roberts, the supervisor of De Mine’s public schools, was detained by enforcing migration and customs after she initially escaped from the application of the law and then arrested because he had illegally possessing a firearm.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Public Safety in Iowa, the officers approached Roberts in his car after his identification, but he started. The officers later discovered that his car was deserted near a wooded area. The state patrol helped locate the issue and was transferred to detention of ice.
Roberts, who was originally from Guyana, entered the United States in 1999 with a student visa and obtained a final order from the removal by the immigration judge in May 2024. Roberts had accusations of possession of current weapons as of February 5, 2020.
“We do not have all the facts. There is a lot that we do not know. However, what we know is that Dr. Roberts was an integral part of our school community since joining more than two years. During our period with our region, he appeared in large and small ways, called for students for schools, and began to provide concepts held on Friday afternoon.
Norris announced that the assistant supervisor, Matt Smith, will immediately pass the role of the temporary supervisor.
“We stand firm with our society, and many of whom feel sad, angry and unable. We understand because we also destroyed the news of his detention. However, this does not stop our important work and we will continue to provide a wonderful education for students and our society.”
Investigating how Roberts is approving the pistol is delivered to ATF. It is a violation of federal law for those in the United States without legal status to have a firearm and ammunition.
