(Crohn)-A man who claims to attract the city of Dali’s police acknowledged by reporting the theft of makeup, then a response officer stabbed that he was not guilty of the charges on Monday, according to the Office of the Prosecutor of the San Matteo County.
Anthony Sandoval Lopez, 23, from San Francisco, was accused of assaulting a peace officer, as he made a false report to law enforcement and resistance to detention.
At 9:15 pm on Sunday, Sandoval Lopez told Dali’s city police administration that five males armed with knives stole it, according to the prosecutors. DA office said that the officers who arrived began to question the validity of the alleged victim’s story “based on his behavior and responses.”
Prosecutors said that without warning, Sandoval Lopez took out a pair of scissors and stabbed an officer twice in his chest. The officer avoids injury due to the jacket and the jacket he was wearing.
The officers’ reaction was by removing their pistols and ordered Sandoval-Lopez to drop the scissors. After he initially rejected, Sandofal Lopez surrendered as soon as the officers threatened or explained the K-9, according to the DA office.
Sandoval Lopez claims that the police said he wanted the officers to be killed, according to the prosecutors.
The guarantee was set at $ 10,000. The case returns to the court on October 2.
