Denver (KDVR) – The Fedex Delivery truck said to Wyoming on the Road Road 25 in Thornton on Monday morning after one of the deliveries began to leak hydrochloric acid.
I-25 stairs are closed in 84th Avenue, as with 84 Avenue itself, while the respondents work to neutralize and clean the acid.
Anderson said that the Fedex driver noticed the leak at about two in the morning on Monday, when he was on the way from the warehouse to Wyoming.
Anderson said: “It seems that the spill at this stage is relatively small,” Anderson said. “We have no product running on the road surface or anything, it seems that this is in the trailer.”
Anderson said the Hazmat team was working to enter to find out the exact problem, but he expected the process to take several hours.
Anderson said: “They will enter using Hazmat allowances, and they will enter the truck, put their eyes, determine what the problem is, then transfer this information alongside the Hazmat driving to reach a plan on how to deal with this,” Anderson said. “It will be the process of neutralizing the acid so that it becomes more than the non -interactive pH.”
