The crowds are lined for more than an hour on Friday morning to be among the first cyclists along the long -awaited La Metro A to Pomona.
As part of the Foothill Gold Line line extension project, new stations are designed in Glendora, San Dimas, La Verne and Pomona, providing the two bikes in the heart of Los Angeles and beyond.
In addition to more contact from La Eastern Province to the city center, Line ExtenSion also gives residents living in Los Angeles the opportunity to travel by train to places that may not have not been before and explore more culture and history of Southern California.

Glindura
address: 410 South Vermont Ave.
Amenities:More than 300 parking spaces with electric vehicle charging kiosks, bicycle and communications parking for hill buses and Glendora Transit.
Artwork: The station features citrus motifs with technical tilework that honors the history of Orange Grove in the city. Eight large columns are characterized by the platform by giving from local animals and plants, which the artist Michael Hellman described as hand. The walking path of pedestrians displays a metaphorical mosaic wall surrounded by hummingblock tiles, an umbrella engraved glass ticket, concrete and citrus tiles designed by artist Christie Bennetton.
What is close: The Glendora Historical Society Museum is located about half a mile to the north of the station, and the Rubel Castle is a short away. The Albertsons grocery store is located next to the car park in the south, and an American post office in the north. San Dimas
address: 124 West Railway St.
Amenities: Attachment to parking with 289 spaces, charging the electric car, storing bicycles and decreased passengers on the street from a new platform station. It provides contacts for two TROTHILL bus lines.
Artwork: Four large bronze “walking sticks” are placed on the platform, honoring natural paths and long -distance walking paths in the area. Seven ceramic plates are manually defined by the original animals in the region. Eugene Dub and Ann Olsen Dubl call the installation: “The feeling of the place.”
What is close: It is located in the center of a strange shopping area with cafes, hobby stores and coffee toas. Amenities: The La Verne/Fairplex Station features a 300 parking attachment with electric car charging stations, bicycle storage, bus areas and passengers. The pedestrian bridge will soon cross the highway to communicate with Fairoverx Metrolink station.
Artwork: “Communication” by the blue McRight, three sculptures of concrete steel and stainless steel are placed similar to the stairs used in orchids, with unique patterns inspired by local landmarks, along the walk to the station platform.
What is close: La Vernin University campus is less than 300 feet from the new train station. Fairplex, the home of the Los Angeles County Show, is located on the Rapid Arrow Road and will become easier when building the city’s infantry bridge. Bomona

Amenities: The Northern Pomona Station features a 300 -satellite auto facility near the charging of electric vehicles and bike parking.
