Serena Williams’ husband and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian recently reacted to receiving a sports trading card featuring Ben Shelton’s girlfriend, Trinity Rodman. Shelton and Rodman made their relationship public earlier this year, in March 2025.
Rodman is a professional soccer player who plays as a forward for the United States national team and the Washington Spirit in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). In her first season in 2021, Rodman won the NWSL Championship, was named NWSL Rookie of the Year, and made the NWSL Best XI. She also scored three goals at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where Team USA won gold.

Williams’ husband, Ohanian, has been a collector of sports trading cards for some time and boasts of an impressive and rare collection. His prized possessions include trading cards of his wife, Andy Roddick, Michael Jordan, Venus Williams, and many others. The tech entrepreneur had also previously revealed that he has even introduced his older daughter, Olympia, to the hobby of collecting sports cards.
Ohanian recently shared a picture of a sports trading card featuring Shelton’s girlfriend, Rodman, on social media. He revealed that he received it through his ‘Alt Vault,’ a physical and digital storage service for trading cards. He also described the card as “dope.”
“This dope @trinity_rodman auto just landed in my alt vault 😮💨,” Ohanian captioned his Instagram story.
The Reddit co-founder also announced the news of receiving the Rodman trading card on X.

Williams and Ohanian met in Rome in 2015 and got engaged in 2016. Their first daughter, Olympia Ohanian, was born on September 1, 2017, and they married in New Orleans later that year, in November. Their youngest daughter, Adira River Ohanian, was born in August 2023.
Rodman Stood Beside Ben Shelton After His Heartbreaking US Open Retirement
At the 2025 US Open, Shelton defeated qualifier Ignacio Buse and Pablo Carreño Busta in the first and second rounds, respectively. In the third round, he faced Adrian Mannarino but retired from the match before the fifth set due to a left shoulder injury.
After Shelton retired from the Grand Slam tournament, Rodman shared a heartfelt message on social media in support of him. She also posted a picture of them sharing a kiss.
“❤️,” Rodman captioned her Instagram post.
Looking ahead, Shelton is next expected to compete at the 2025 Japan Open Tennis Championships, which is scheduled to take place from September 24 to September 30 at the Ariake Coliseum.
Alongside Shelton, players like Carlos Alcaraz, Kei Nishikori, Taylor Fritz, Jiří Lehečka, Holger Rune, and Casper Ruud are also expected to participate in the tournament.
