Longhorns slip, Aggies surge in latest AP Top 25

Austin – Texas dropped one place in Latest Associated Press rating top 25 After an uneven performance in the 27-10 victory over UTEP on Saturday in Austin.

Longhorns (2-1) slipped to number 8 in the survey, and voters have always shown that not all victories are created on an equal footing. Oregon won the northwest of 34-14, yet it fell from the top of 5, dropped two sites to No. 6.

TEXAS A & M to the top ten after winning 41-40 on Notre Dame, climbing six sites to No. 10. The loss of Irish fighting sent to 0-2 and in free fall, as 16 sites decreased to No. 24.

Miami rose to No. 4, and Georgia moved to the first five places. Hurricanes spoiled the start of South Florida for this season, overcoming Bulls 49-12 to move to No. 4, and the Badags excelled over Tennessee 44-41 in additional time to move to No. 5.

The SoutheASSERN conference includes the classification teams and four among the top ten. Oklahoma raised two sites to No. 11 after winning 42-3 over Temple, and Ole Miss moved four places to No. 13 after his victory over Arkansas 41-35 and Alabama Rose five holes to No. 14 with a victory 38-14 over Wissconin.

Clemerson fell from the classification after a loss of 24-21 for Georgia’s technology. The yellow jackets entered the 18th survey with the victory. Vanderbilt withdrew South Carolina 31-7, and commodores moved to the survey in No. 20. It hosts Vanderbilt on November 1.
