Denver (KDVR) – The Douglas Sharif County Office issued on Sunday the “Public Safety Declaration” warning the risk community associated with the traditions of high school after two “disturbing” calls for students playing “senior fatal”.
The game, in which high school students-the elderly-enjoys through “shooting” each other with realistic water at times or gaming rifles, were the subject of many law enforcement warnings throughout the country and even led to students Fire by the police or Wet.
In a Facebook and video, Sharif’s office detailed the two incidents that happened earlier this month related to the game.
Sharif’s office said: “Although what is meant by an harmless hobby, this game has sparked great safety concerns because of its ability to be wrong in the real criminal activity … Participants, passers -by and law enforcement are at risk.”
In one incident, the residents of Ranch Haylands saw masked children in a grocery store and thought they were about to start a robbery.
In the second, the caller saw a person pointing to a pistol from the hole of the car roof at the Highlands Restaurant.
In this accident, deputies performed a high -risk station in a car park near West Highlands Ranch Parkway and Town Center Drive. Representatives have found the water -like water cannons in the car.
Students were released in this incident to their parents after a “serious discussion” about the risks of the upper killer.
“These weapons look real. If one of the residents or the officer believes that they are facing an armed threat, the result may be tragic,” said Sharif’s office. “A good-intention game can lead to a person seriously injured or killed-either by a resident who behaves in self-defense or by applying the law that was forced to make a decision again.”
The Sharif office had several appeals for students, parents and society as a whole:
- Parents: Please talk to your students to encourage safer ways to celebrate their higher year.
- Students: Please think about the risks. Your safety and the safety of others do not deserve risk.
- Population: If you see a suspicious activity, please call 911. Don’t assume it is just a game.
