Union City, California (Crohn– A 7.7 -magnitude earthquake in Thailand caused a 6.4 -degree tremor in Myanmar, killing thousands. To support the authors there, the East Bay Myanmar community and the Cultural Center in Union City held a campaign to collect donations on Sunday evening.
Destruction throughout Thailand, the Greater Bangkok and Myanmar. Thousands died, and many are missing.
In response to the destruction, the Burmese people held in the Myanmar community and the Myanmar Center in Myanmar, Myanmar, collecting donations to help those in need. Music and food were presented to the guests.
The donations of clothes and finance were welcomed. Several people have a family collection on Sunday family and friends in Myanmar, such as Hein HTET, which is part of the Myanmar Student Union.
Like Hein, Thwin HToo HTET also has friends with loss.
Thuwain said: “The last time one of my friends called her and told me that his mother had just died, and I cried for two hours; I really felt.”
Union City mayor, Gary Singh, also appeared to support him. In the coming days, Singh says it will open a place to donate to Gurdwara Sahib Fremont in Fremont.
