Austin (KXAN) – through two games, Texas did not get the background of the jogging. For clear reasons, this is something Steve Sarkissian coach Longhorns wants to repair when Utep miners enter DKR-Texas Memorial on Saturday.
When asked if he was getting enough running game in the wake of the Longhorns 38-7 victory over San Jose State on September 6, Sarkisyan answered, “The jury is still outside.” He thought he was good against Ohio in the opening match of the season, but he was less likely to perform against Spartans, even with a brief background. Quintrevion Wisner will sit, the team advanced again and 1000 yards last season, again on the margin with a leg injury against miners.
Sarkissian hopes that the players will benefit from the deep chart behind Wesnar from that and record meaningful campaigns that help them later this season.
“It is important to be the site of running, at any level, is to continue to develop players who do not get the bulk of the campaigns in games,” said Sarkissian. “As we all know, injuries occur and men are forced to work, so you should make sure these men are prepared.”
Christian Clark got his first long work last week after he lost every real first year with a knee injury in the training camp. He got 21 yards on seven campaigns, so he was not like his performance jumped from the basics paper, but Sarkisian said he benefited greatly from him.
“He had an opportunity to see the tape and return to training this week to ensure that he is running for his style,” said Sarkissian. “Run to see how things reach and fit games.”
Jeric Gibson, Texas specialist in the short square last season, is looking for a bigger role this season, but needs to reduce his disappearances. The coaches worked tirelessly with him last season to improve the security of the ball, but the issues returned to Spartans. Gibson the ball with 1:16. Leave in the game on the 15 yard.

Likewise, the defender who forced Gibson Tlemis was the former Larry Turner-Joudin.
Sarkissian said he “hated it for him,” and said Gibson would continue to dig, hanging on the ball by calling.
“The exposure was good for him,” Sarkissian said. “We will need it. His physical ability to run is something we need as the season’s progress.”
Sarkissian also hopes that James Simon, a real student who was classified as a 9 -year -old recruiter in the country by 247sports last season, will receive some procedures. Sarkissian said Simon “is working hard.”
CJ Baxter is good to go and you should see most carrying, at least early, depending on whether the longhorns can build a great progress.
Moore, January, Musli are all doubtful for Saturday
Longhorns injury news does not stop at Wisner. The wide recipient Dennder Moore came from the stadium against San Jose Sett Stet last week and did not play in the second half. Alex January did not wear the defensive and wide future, Emit Moussly V, last week, and every three doubtful against miners.
Texas has a match other than conferences against Sam Houston State on September 20, followed by a week bye before Florida’s interview in the opening match of the Southeast Conference on October 4. Sarkissian said he has no long -term concerns about any of them, so in theory, they should all be ready to play SEC.
“We will put them at the risk of long -term effects if we forced them to return very early,” said Sarkissian.
Like running mode, this gives Sarkissian the opportunity to develop depth pieces in those situations, giving him more reliable options to go later this season when everyone suffers from bumps and bruises.
