NEXSTAR – US Secretary of Education Linda McMahon toured the Austin Private School on Tuesday, which claims to help students “Learn 2x in two hours.”

Alpha Austin School is part of a network of Alpha schools throughout the country, focusing on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to help students progress through the courses faster.
“Basically, we believe that children are limitless,” said co -founder McKenzi Price. “When children receive a dedicated learning that goes on their pace and level, their learning is able to go very faster than traditional classrooms.”
Instead of “teachers”, students are supervised at Alpha Austin School through “Evidence”, who help them lead them through brief courses. During the MCMAHON tour, students were complementing fast mathematics problems, designing a small golden course and cooking.

Of course, not everyone can afford the cost of the expensive school like alpha. “I can do this model of education in a tent as long as I have the Internet,” said Price. “It is not about the building. It is about what is happening inside the building.
