A man who was stabbed during a clear road accident on the road managed to run to a nearby company for help, and the alleged attacker was arrested later after a short hunt.
San Bernardino County Department Tuesday mentioned These deputies were called from Twin Peaks to the Lake Drive 23700 bloc in the CrestLine community on Sunday at 5:39 pm to respond to a call regarding an attack with a fatal weapon.
SBSD said in a media statement: “The deputies called the victim and learned that the suspect began to argue with a female driver while the victim was sitting in the passenger seat,” SBSD said in a media statement. “The victim came out of the car and started walking from the scene, [but the suspect] He followed the victim in his truck, pulled next to him, got out of the car and threatened to kill him.
At this point, the suspect, who was identified as Daril Darling, took a knife and started swinging on the man, and hitting him on the side. The man – who was not named – ran to a nearby company for help, and was treated at the scene before he was transferred to a nearby hospital for additional medical treatment.
His condition has not been revealed.
After the accident, Darling escaped from the area in his car, and after an alert came out to enforce the law, officials advise that they were searching for him and his car, which was located on the old Waterman Canyon road, and not far from the location of the physical confrontation.
The 29 -year -old was detained after chasing a short vehicle and booked at the central detention center for the attempt to kill. His first appearance appeared in the court on Tuesday morning, and the search records indicate.
