These major cities are considered the safest in the US, says new study

(Nexstar) – The city you call the house must feel just like that: the house. Ideally, it should be a place where you can feel comfortable in your day, knowing that you are safe while doing this.

This can be a little difficult sometimes, especially in some of the largest cities in the country.

Some of them are safer than others, of course, and a new study than Smartasset Try to identify any of the main cities in the country is the safest.

To find this, Smartasset 50 compared the country’s largest cities based on its population and looked at some different variables, including violent crime rate, property crime rate, vehicle mortality rates, and many other standards.

The landing above the list is a city on the western coast: San Jose, California. After completing the top 10 in each scale of Smartasset, San Jose had a third less than violent crimes in the country for its population, and the fifth of the fifth property crimes.

Five hours south of San Jose was the second most safe city in the country, Los Angeles, which similarly accumulates in terms of all crime standards and had a significantly lower vehicle mortality rate (in terms of traffic deaths per 100,000) compared to San Jose.

Three cities in Texas also fell in the top ten, with Fort Worth in third place, Arlington ranked 7, and Al Passo ranked 8. All three cities have lower proportions than adults who drink excessively compared to the rest of the 10 best (except San Jose, which has a lower percentage).

Here is how you shook the best 25 safe Smartasset classifications.
