Grilli, Colorado (KDVR) – A meeting of the Grilli City Council was heated earlier this week and ended with a police report.
The meeting in the southern city building attracted a large crowd for the public comment on Catalyst & Cascadia Greley West Project. Grilli police officers were also present in the council’s rooms.
The project consisting of two parts will be an entertainment area of about 832 million dollars, which will go towards a professional sports arena, an internal water park throughout the year and a private residential and commercial area called CASCADIA.
During the general comment, the rules were set to refrain from applause or expression; However, some speakers were boycotted by people screaming from the crowd. “We are tired of that,” a woman, like the captain of the Hockey team in Colorado Eagles, shouted to speak for the project.
The supervisors intervened and said: “Come on, comrades, we were in good condition.”
Many of those who spoke were concerned that the city council had agreed to the project as a decree instead of placing it in a public vote, because it would use taxpayers dollars. Others believed that it would bring jobs and tourism to northern Colorado and use the youth.
The members of school societies and the youth teams teams were present at the meeting.
After the general suspension period, Grili Police Department said that a “physical quarrel” followed this between two women while people were leaving.
Police said that 71 -year -old Mary Monohn was killed and was released at the scene. The victim was identified as a 40 -year -old woman.
