Who is Arch Manning's biggest critic? It's Arch Manning

ASAN (KXAN) – Texas coach Steve Sarkissian said he wanted to be 20 % of his team’s offensive plays of explosive diversity, playing at least 20 yards, and against Ohio, the Longhorns rate was 11 %.

Why? According to the midfielder, Manning Arch, the answer was simple.

“I.”

Manning received his incompatible play in the opening match of the season against Bucceyes on Saturday in the loss of the team 14-7. He completed 17 of 30 passes for 170 yards, and threw an objection in the third quarter, which led to the decline of Ohio State. However, his team almost returned from a 14-0 deficit with a significant landing to Parker Livingstone in the fourth quarter.

He raised 144 yards in the second half after only 26 in the first half, saying that a conversation with Sarkissian at the end of the first half helped him go out. But he said he needs to start faster and simply play better to reach long goals this year.

“I carry myself at a high level, and I realize that I have to play better,” he said. “I have to lead more and make my comrades play better around me. It wasn’t good enough.”

Despite the improvement in the second half, Manning said there was “I didn’t like much” on how to play it. Sarkissian had a more optimistic view of the Manning game, saying that although there were “opportunities with open players” and the Manning mechanics sometimes collapsed, there were flashes for the player who could become.

“He is a better athlete than he gives it,” said Sarkissian. “He started playing football in the way he could play in the second half.”

Manning wants a “handful” of plays from the Saturday match. Obviously, time does not work like this, but this is something that will suit Maning in the field of training. It is very talented, there is no doubt about it, but playing university football at the elite level is more than just talent.

“I am designed. This will motivate me to play better,” he said. “This is what we need to win.”

Texas (0-1) will host San Jose State in the opening match at 11 am on Saturday. Spartans (0-1) lost 16-14 against Michigan in the opening match of the season.
