Thousands of population met Monday for the sake The 46th Labor Day procession, picnic and gathering in WilmengtonHosted by the Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor alliance.
Today he started assembling the show at 8 am in the streets of Broad and E. The procession begins at 10 am, and travels along E Street to Avalon Street before concluding in Banning Park in M Street.
The one -mill -length path is usually characterized by march ranges, union delegations, swalches and community groups.
At the back, a gathering in Banning Park will highlight the pushing workers for the strongest protection and opposition to what the organizers describe as “billionaire to acquire”. The march will follow a free picnic with live entertainment, food and drinks.
The “billionaire stoppage for acquisition” marches will also be held throughout the Los Angeles Province. The demonstrations, organized by the May Day Strong collection, aim to build momentum from May’s marches earlier this year.
In a statement, the organizers said that billionaires launch a “war against workers” with the support of administration officials, immigration enforcement and law enforcement. They said that the two groups confirmed their demands:
- The billionaire stopped the acquisition of our government’s corruption.
- Protect and defend medical aid, social security, and other programs for workers.
- Fully funded schools, health care and housing for all.
- Stop attacks on immigrants, black, indigenous, and suitable, and all our societies.
- Invest in people, not wars.
The organizers said in a statement, “The working people have built this nation and know how to take care of each other. We will not back down – we will never stop fighting for our families, rights and freedoms that guarantee access to the opportunity and a better life for all Americans. The billionaire has ended.
Participants are encouraged to gather not only in marches and gatherings, but also outside corporate offices and Congress buildings to pressure their demands.
