Denver (KDVR) – It is one of the famous Colorado Paper points, and after disrupting illegal parking lots last fall, the Sharif Claire Creek Sharif office is already focusing on legal parking practices.
On Sunday, the deputies had 12 vehicles withdrawn and issued about 50 illegal parking tickets on Guanella Pass, Sharif office said in a post on X.
Parking on the road is illegal because emergency vehicles need space to reach the road. The vehicles, which were illegally parked on the road on Sunday, were forced on the road consisting of two lanes usually to work as one way, which means that drivers traveling in opposite directions were only using one lane and will lead directly with the traffic received.
The road of 1 lane forcing emergency vehicles to wait until the traffic alternates before it can reach safely through the gap.
Clear Creek Sheriff’s Office has published this notice:
- Stopping vehicles will be placed in areas without parking
- Parking vehicles in the areas allowed for cars, but still stick to them on the road
- The parked vehicles will be withdrawn directly on the road
Sharif’s office said that he will actively perform in the area and carry out legal parking from now to the end of the rich season.
