The governor of Gavin New Zum on Friday Declare Establishing a state -level work team aimed at dismantling the homeless camps on state property and expanding access to shelter and services.
The state’s procedures will facilitate the camps or a safe business squad, coordinating efforts through multiple government agencies, including the California Highway Patrol, Caltrans, and the state’s health and housing departments.
The group will focus on the camps along the rights of state in the 10 largest cities in California: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Auckland, San Diego, Sacramento, San Jose, Long Beach, Anaim, Beckerfield, and Fresno.
This announcement follows the executive order of the 2024 news company, which ordered the cleaning of the camp after the US Supreme Court ruling granted to the state and local governments more power to remove it.
The ruler’s office stated that the work squad will give priority to sites that are unsafe and cooperate with local governments to link individuals to shelter services, health care and use of materials.
“California has been placed in a strong and comprehensive strategic place to combat national homelessness and housing crises – and outperforms the nation as a result of changing this issue,” Newsum newspaper said in a statement. “No one should live in a dangerous or unhealthy camp, and we will continue our continuous work to ensure that everyone has a safe place to contact the house.“
State officials said that the upcoming camp operations are expected during the next thirty days.
