Gia Giudice recently addressed a question that caught the attention of fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, whether her cousin, Antonia Gorga, should join the Bravo spinoff Next Gen NYC, which Gia stars in.
The question came during a recent interview with Us Weekly, and Gia Giudice responded with honesty and clarity.
While the two families have been publicly estranged in recent years, Gia didn’t shy away from giving her perspective when asked if Antonia, the 20-year-old daughter of Melissa and Joe Gorga, might be a fit for the new series.
“A lot of our scenes involve us going out for drinks. She doesn’t turn 21 for another year,” Gia said. “I think it’s a different age bracket, but I wish her all the best, though.”

Gia, 24, made it clear that her response wasn’t personal but more about the logistics and tone of the show itself. Next Gen NYC, which features young adult cast members navigating life and relationships in the city, often includes scenes set in bars and clubs, settings that wouldn’t be a fit for someone under the legal drinking age.
Her comment also reflects a professional awareness of the show’s format and the dynamic between cast members, many of whom are in their mid-20s.
While the mention of their family’s estrangement may raise eyebrows among longtime fans, Gia kept her answer neutral and respectful.
As the Bravo universe continues to evolve with the younger generation stepping into the spotlight, questions about legacy casting and family ties are inevitable. But for now, Gia Giudice is carving out her own space on Next Gen NYC, and doing so with a measured approach, even when the questions get personal.
