Who Is Dillon Gabriel’s Fiancée?

Gabriel got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Zoe Caswell a day after his debut with the Ducks in September 2024. The couple has been dating since middle school, but in Caswell’s words, their first interaction was quite weird.

“We met in the summer of seventh or sixth grade, actually, because we were both new to his school, so we had an orientation class. We met gardening, funny enough, and he kept coming closer and closer to me, and I was like, ‘Who’s this weird guy?’ That weird guy,” she said.

Caswell would soon fall for that weird guy, and they would start dating in 11th grade. Gabriel surprised her with a proposal after his debut with Oregon, getting down on one knee to ask for her hand for a lifetime.

While information about Caswell’s professional career isn’t available in public domain, she has been a regular feature at Gabriel’s games through UCF, Oklahoma, and Oregon. However, she admitted to being nervous watching the QB perform.

“I’m so anxious, so stressed out. I’m like, I’m a mess, honestly,” she said.

Gabriel has often appreciated Caswell’s support in his career, suggesting she understood him without making him feel the need to explain himself.

“She’s meant everything. I think when you come home to a person that just understands you for being you and you don’t need necessarily to say anything, you appreciate that.”

In his last year of college eligibility, Gabriel reached career highs in most passing categories. He put up personal bests with a 72.9% completion percentage and 3,857 passing yards, and he scored 37 total touchdowns with six interceptions.

Oregon ended the regular season undefeated, winning the Big Ten in their first season in the conference. Gabriel finished third in the Heisman Trophy voting, only behind Travis Hunter and Ashton Jeanty, and Caswell was proud of his achievement.

“I can’t express enough how proud I am of you. Going to events like this reminds me of how incredible your journey as a player and a person has been. You inspire me everyday. I am so honored to be by your side and share this life with you❤️,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

Gabriel was a first-team All-American, a first-team All-Big Ten member, and the Big Ten MVP. He finished his collegiate career second all-time in FBS passing yards with 18,722. He played in 64 total games, making him the NCAA Division I leader in the most games played by a quarterback.

Preview for Eagles vs. Browns Week 2 Preseason Game

Shedeur Sanders made his NFL preseason debut against the Carolina Panthers last week. However, he will not play today against the Philadelphia Eagles due to an oblique injury.
Gabriel will make his first appearance in the NFL today against the Eagles and will be under immense pressure to perform. He will share game time with Tyler Huntley, but the former Oregon quarterback should have enough time to leave an impression.

As for the Eagles, Tanner McKee played exceptionally well for them last week. He is unlikely to play against the Browns as the reigning Super Bowl champions have already seen enough good displays from him.
The game against the Eagles will be a tough matchup for the Browns, who won 30-10 against the Panthers last week. Gabriel playing well will make things tougher for Kevin Stefanski, and seeing how things pan out will be interesting.
