Austin – South Western Airways will launch three new seasonal routes from Austin in March 2026.
A flying spokesman for KXan said that the Fort Myers, Florida and Steamboat Springs, Colorado, will start on March 7, “our customers in Austin to the famous spring holiday destinations in the mountains and on the beach.” Both two roads will be new for Austin Bergstrom International Airport, with no other airline service operating without stopping.
Southwest will also launch a new path to Palm Springs, California, on the same day. This road will work twice a week, on Saturday and Sunday. Palm Springs is not currently being provided directly from Austin, but Delta Air LINES will start its seasonal service between the two cities on November 8.
US Airways has previously traveled from AUS to Fort Myers and Palm Springs, but both roads were canceled in 2024 as part of the wider discounts.
These are the first new methods announced by AUS in 2026. The various airlines were launched, or will launch 23 new roads from Austin this year, including five new airport roads.
Southwest also launched five new roads this year. Flights to Milwauki and Renault began in March, while flights to San Francisco began in August. The service is scheduled to start non -stop for Jacksonville on October 2.
