Dakota Ridge marching band's equipment trailer stolen from school's parking lot

Littleton, COLO. (KDVR) – Screamin ‘Eagles’s Eagles from Dakota Ridge School’ faces a big setback after thieves stole their equipment trailer from the school’s car park earlier this month.

The last time the White 2007 S and H trailer was seen decorated with DRHS stickers between 6 and 7 August.

When the employees examined a lot, they found that the locks were cut and left wheels.

“The trailer was stolen, and it could not happen, and it cannot be real … Why does someone take something important of this way for the program?” The drum of Major Santiago, Ramos, said.

When the band manager Cody Kisling got the news, his first thinking was that he should have been a mistake.

Kisling said: “My primary idea is the pillars of our march band, and we have some parents who were appointed to these pillars, and I think one of them took the trailer to use it,” said Kisling.

Soon you know this was not.

“I called my activities manager and asked her to look at the footage between these days,” said Kisling. “It was up to find it on the cameras of this school.”

Inside the trailer, the uniforms, hats, column and pillars were. It was a place for the band to store larger tools.

For the band, its loss before the competition season appears to be a bowel punch.

“For the time being, we have no place to apply to the official Xena. We have no place to put large tools,” Santiago said. “It only adds something difficult to the competitions that are really very difficult.”

Kisling says that replacement of the trailer alone may cost up to $ 8,000. It is money that the program does not have.

He said: “My students really work, really hard. They have put a lot of time and effort. 7-8 hours before the school begins to achieve this thing.” “When you take something of us, it has a big effect.”

Despite the setback, the support provided by the community helps the Screamin Eagles continue to walk forward.

“Although something stolen, it is really good to see people who want to help find it and like the offer to allow us to use their trailer if we cannot find it or end up needing it,” said Kisling.

Currently, the band’s hope is that someone is watching and returning the stolen trailer.

The stolen trailer contains distinctive DRHS stickers and wrap the right front bumper. It is the 2007 S and H trailer, with a 266 license plate.

If you have any information, see the trailer, or note any suspicious activity, please do not approach it. Instead, call the Jefferson Sharif County Office on 303-980-7300 and the reference number 25-13395.
