Denver (KDVR) – A new space to enjoy the outdoor alcoholic drinks can reach a small pocket from Renault, after submitting the first request to a common consumption area to the city last week.
Denver said that companies can apply for this type of license since their return in 2021, which was created in an attempt to stimulate the city center after the epidemic. After four years, the first company can come to one area that one company believes has the ability to be more than it is currently.
Brighton Boulevard often in Renault is busy with traffic, and is a conductor from Denver downtown to the highway. While the most simply passes, Westfield wants people to stop.
“To attract more attention to the least well -known Renault,” said Ally Faridin, director of private projects for Westfield.
Located in the Mission’s Mission for developer and a multi -use northern Wynkoop area. Westfield plans first to turn the area into an entertainment area, with the proposed joint consumption area in a small part of it.
The small square in which the region is located between Mission Ballroom Hall and two licensed companies of alcoholic beverages, Cantina Unicorn Cantina and Left Hand Brewing. A common consumption license requires two companies licensed from alcohol to partnership and create a limited space where people can consume alcohol.
Faridin has already seen a success with a similar space in the Stanley Market in Aurora.
She said: “Since I witnessed our success in Stanley Marketplace, we had this on our schedule for years.”
It is called “Sip and Shop”, allowing people to drink in common areas, including other companies in the specified area.
“It is really a great way to stimulate life and bring it to an unexploited space otherwise,” said Faridin.
She hopes to encourage people to stop for a while to enjoy a slide of the neighborhood.
“This may be a reason that people will get a little early, staying for a little longer,” said Faridin.
The city says once the request is approved, the city council will first have to agree to establish an entertainment area around the place where the shared consumption area will be determined. Faridin says they do not have a specific timetable about everything, but they hope to get everything approved and operate it as soon as possible.
