Evacuations issued for residents north of Clear Lake as fire threatens structures

(Crohn) -The mandatory evacuation orders of residents on the northern side of Claire Lake, in Lake County, were issued on Saturday afternoon, after a fire that was fired at Jordan by Cal Fire grown to 10-15 acres with a moderate rate of spread.

It was said to residents in the following evacuation areas due to the threats of structures, life and property. As of 4:15 pm, all evacuation operations have been reduced to the warning status:

  • Lock-e063
  • Luc-e067

The evacuation areas can be found on Lake Sharif’s Facebook County page On Genasys Protect. To register to receive emergency alerts from the province, visit Ready.lakecountyca.gov.

An evacuation point was created in the car park at East Lake Elementary School, which is located in 13050 High Valley RD. , ClearKE Oaks, according to the emergency alert from the province. The evacuation movement should move east on the rapid state road 20 towards Ox Clerick.

The fire was reported at 2:09 pm.

The fire is about 40 % incoming.
