Williamson Province, Texas (KXAN) – Williamson County Commissioners discussed budget recommendations for the next fiscal year at the Commissioners Court meeting on Tuesday.
the The total budget recommended by Williamson County Budget Office is 735,644,714 dollars. There are three main parts within the budget: the budget of the General Fund, the Roads and Bridge Fund and the debt service fund.
The General Fund budget covers the basic functions of the boycott, such as management and public safety. It is recommended for 375,657,616 dollars, which is more than $ 14,000,000, which was approved last year.
The Road and Bridge Bridge supports the transport infrastructure. It is recommended at a price of 72,734,889 dollars.
The debt service fund helps to pay the boycott loans and bonds for previous projects such as construction and infrastructure. It is recommended at 222,704,539 dollars.
“Obtaining a budget that meets the needs of the province and the rapid growth of the province and is still effective and maintain the tax rate as much as possible,” said Stephen Senil, who spends his first year as a Williamson district judge.
Currently, real estate owners in Williamson Province pay 39.99 cents per $ 100 of evaluation. The boycott has not determined what the average will be this year so far, but the commissioners have voted so that they do not exceed 41.37 cents per price-the voter approval rate of 2025. Anything higher may require approval in the elections.

Kofi said that a balance between the budget with a large number of population could be a difficult task. According to the American Statistical Office, Williamson Province is eight fastest growth in Texas.
“It is difficult with such a growing boycott and the needs we have,” Kofi said.
Sinil said that with the progress of the talks, he wants to make sure that the first respondents are a priority in the budget.
“We had an experience with the flood. We need to make sure they have everything they need to take care of our boycott,” Senil said.
Changes and proposals will be made throughout the month. The budget will be completed on August 25.
