Alleged wrong-way driver in O.C. plows into 4 vehicles; 2 dead, 4 injured

Two people died and at least four others were wounded in what the authorities describe as a high -vehicle high -speed collision in Santa Anna on Monday night.

The Santa Anna police officers responded to reports of the violent incident in the main street north of Warner Street at approximately 6:35 pm, and officials confirmed KTLA.

Natalie Garcia, Santa Anna’s general information official, told reporters that the administration had received multiple calls about a vehicle traveling to Warner Street at a high speed rate.

Garcia said: “It is very primary at this stage. We know that – based on monitoring the circulating video – a vehicle was really traveling at a high rate of speed north on the main when she lost control, went to the lanes south of traffic, and driving on the wrong side of the road,” Garcia said.

Police and crews arrived with the Orange County Fire Commission, found four vehicles involved in the collision, many of which were trapped inside one vehicle’s debris and had to be taken out.

The four were transferred to a nearby hospital in unknown conditions. Two other victims were announced, each in separate vehicles.

It is not known whether the person who rushes on the wrong side of the road was killed during the accident.

In the footage of her afternoon KTLA, firefighters can be seen in an attempt to enter one of the cars concerned, which were fully destroyed, while destroying its entire front end.

Two other cars, Honda and Toyota SUVs, both of which were destroyed.

The authorities said that the investigation of the cause of the accident is still continuing and that it is too early to determine whether drugs or alcohol are a worker in the accident.
