Immigration attorney warns of ICE raids at schools, urges preparation

San Francisco (Crohn-Give the time to return to school. However, as the new academic year approaches, migratory families are preparing for more than just lists and tables of supply.

There is a fear that the detention of ice will occur in schools. Kron4 spoke to the immigration lawyer about what parents need to know during this time of the year.

The arrest of ice has been reported inside the immigration courts, and in sports events and now migrant parents are concerned that they may face a confrontation with ice agents while picking schools and decline.

Since most families prepare their children to school with supplies and lessons plans, Hector Kiruja’s immigration lawyer says there are parents who do not participate in preparatory to school.

“Calls from families who fear even return to school sales, where there are large gatherings of people, much less than sending their children to school,” Kiruja said.

He says that many schools are preparing for empty offices and increasing fear that ICE agents will start appearing in schools to arrest parents. Before President Trump’s executive orders, schools were considered sensitive areas where the detention of ice could not occur.

Quiroga says although the sensitive area policy has changed, officials have some ability to prevent agents from entering campus.

“School officials have the authority to request a federal order and not allow the ice to enter the school. This does not mean that they do not have the right to be on the sidewalk or on the street,” Kiruja said.

Immigration lawyer says that a federal matter enables Ice customers to do more than just an administrator, and encourage parents and schools to be aware of the differences between the two.

Preparing immigration raids to reach deeper in daily life, implement and play by agents in unique, masks and regular clothes.

“Everyone is in a very difficult situation because it is similar to how we know that the person who is trying to enter our car is a legal agent who is already playing legal orders,” Kiruja said.

Quiroga says that migratory families who are preparing to return to school should contact the immigration lawyer to send copies of records and papers. In this way, if an arrest takes place on the school campus, the lawyer can defend your case in court.
