Zilker Theatre’s free summer musical in full swing

Austin – 65 years ago, the Zilker Hillside Theater was the location of the summer gathering of plays and plays in the open air.

This summer production is “Bring it on: the musical”. The shows at the Beverly S. Sheffield Zilker Hillside will be every Thursday to Sunday, and they run until August 16.

Bring it on: The Musical is inspired by the movie, which was released in 2000. The story was written by Tony Prize -winning, music and words by the Tony Prize -winning composer, Lynn Manuel Miranda, Music of Politzer and Tony Cate -winning Tony, and the words of Amanda Green.

The candidate production of Tony was identified in the world of competitive encouragement. Zilker Theatre said in the release that summer production started as a program sponsored by the city and developed into “a historical non -profit organization, driven by donors and heated volunteers, as it provided free entertainment for admission to an audience of more than 66,000 annually.”
