A man from southern California, Naja, remembers the mass fire outside the Casino Hotel in Renault, Nevada, the terrifying moment when the gunman opened fire, killing three people and wounding several others.
On July 28, Dylan McLean, along with 12 friends, and many of them from the Vintera Province area, were resorting to the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino to attend the Bachelor’s degree this week.
At approximately 7:30 am, the group recorded the exit and was waiting in the car row area for riding to the airport when the gunman walked and opened the fire. McLean heard what looked like fireworks as the shooter appeared behind them.
“We just turned and the man was 15-20 feet,” he remembered. “He had a rifle here and was raising it or trying to cancel Jam. We all realized it at the same time and we all took off.”
According to the shooter, Dakota Hovir, 26, from Renault, referred to a 9 mm pistol in the group. The fiery weapon was initially disrupted, but he was able to shoot at the weapon several times, which led to the firing of multiple rounds before escaping on foot.
Officials said that he eventually shot a security guard, shot a person driving in the parking lot, and also fired at Renault police officers, and hit a periodic car. The police again fired Hoover, and hit him. He was taken to the hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Three people were killed in fire: Justin Aguoulia, 33, Andrew Canaiba, 33, both of whom are a residents of South California, and Ageil Martinez, 66, a Nevada resident. Three other victims were injured, but they survived.
Two friends close to McLean, Kaniba and Aguela, were killed, and killed. When McLean escaped, a bullet was spared on the left side. Another friend was shot several times, but he recovers in the intensive care unit. McLean said the accident was beyond shock and destructive.
He said, “You never think this will happen to you.” “Even thinking again, it’s a huge casino, it’s a huge city, we are one group. How can this happen to us?”
McLean Caniba described as a bright light. CanePa was the owner of the Side Street Popular Café in Newbury Park and was a loving husband and a 6 -year -old son.
“Regardless of what was happening in his life, you will never know that,” McLean said. “It is just very sweet.”
His friend, Aguila, described as a generous spirit that had a way to make everyone feel vision. Aguila was a son and a beloved brother and was also working in marriage.
“It was perfect for each other in every way and we were waiting for a long time so that they could get involved,” said McLean.
While the families of the victims are sad for lives, McLean said he focused on supporting his friends for life and their loved ones during this difficult time.

Investigators later confirmed Shoot at approximately 80 rounds, using multiple magazines. He had no relationships with any of the victims and defended behind the mass shooting was still unclear. He remains in critical condition.
