During the opening arguments on July 15, the prosecution claimed that financial problems and marital affairs motivated James to poison his wife’s protein, while the defense said that Angela was aware of these problems and financial affairs, and this was not a motive. It seems that the defense indicates that Angela could have taken her life.

The prosecution has invited several witnesses for two weeks. Labor colleagues described James’s behavior leading to the death of Angela, including a personal package that reached his office. Workers at a medical supply company claimed that James wanted cyanide overnight to his office.

Family members, including the daughter of Angela and James and some members of the Angela family, who said it was not suicide bomber. The defense suggested that these are assumptions.

Both sides rested their cases on Monday, and the prosecution and defense are expected to submit their closing data on Tuesday.
