After two in the morning on July 19, Austin Police responded to the Hatout/Stable call at 804 East Braker Lane. APD said that a woman – who was later identified as Tomson’s friend – called the police to report on her and “someone died.” When the officers arrived, they found the caller and Tumpson, both with fireworks.

The paramedics tried to respond to life -saving measures, but did not succeed, according to APD. Police said Thomson died due to his wounds. He announced his death at the scene. The woman was transferred to a local hospital with an indisputable wound.

APD said that the investigation showed that the couple was in a car on the Baker Lynn and Disao road when a white vehicle pulled them next to them and “shot their car several times, killing Thompson.”

Perhaps a previous conflict in March 2025 led to social media between Thompson and another person to his death, and according to a written certificate obtained by KXan, it could have been linked to the gang.

The written certificate revealed Thompson. This person wrote: “Monte Dead as a [expletive] His killers still wandering here “-in reference to a different murder linked to the gang. Investigators in the Austin Police Gang Unit believed that he implicitly for this person that his” partners were weak for non-revenge, “which then led to a violent revenge against Thompson as a result of respect.

This case represents the murder of Austin 34 in 2025. KXAN follows the number of murders in Austin and this data can be found here.
