Barnsdall wine nights offer city views, music and tastings

The Barnsdall Art Park has announced the return of a summer tradition in Los Angeles: its famous tasting in Friday night in Oliv Hill, which will continue until September 2025. Now in its sixteenth season, the series provides an opportunity to buy boutique wine, enjoy panoramic views of the city, and support the efforts of local arts.

It was held in the western grass of Histle History House – the only UNESCO World Heritage Site in Los Angeles – the events are characterized by options for wine sponsored by Silverlake Wine, local dining trucks, and music from DJS guests, and access to exhibitions at the Muncipal Art Gallery and Barnsdall Art.

Weekly gatherings begin at 5:30 pm, which is 21 years and over. Acceptance public wine ticket tickets are $ 48, with a limited number of $ 37 additions available for tours at Hollyhock House internal.

Includes 2025 dates:

  • 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29
  • September 5, 12, 19 and 26

After a season sold in 2024, the Foundation expanded this series to September for the first time, noting the ongoing demand. The revenues of the series directly benefit from the programming and restoration projects of Barnsdall Park. Organizers say this support is particularly vital this year, as the proposed city budget discounts threaten to influence cultural resources on the site.

“Kaiser Berminity returned as a major sponsor for the year 2025, and we are grateful for their support,” the Foundation said in a statement. “But with the financing threats looming on the horizon, every process of purchasing a ticket helps secure the future of the Barnsdall Art Park.”

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and picnics, but alcohol, pets, grass furniture, or children are not allowed. Car parking is limited, and organizers recommend using metro services or Rideshare.

Tickets are now available through the Barnsdall Art Park Foundation Website.
