Weld County couple pleads guilty to fentanyl distribution linked to girl's death

Denver (KDVR) – A couple from Wilde County approved on Friday to conspire to distribute fentanel and distribute fentanel in a case related to the girl’s death.

According to the approval agreements and US Prosecutor Office for Colorado CountyDestiny Salazar, 22, Gabriel Orrozco, 23, use email and Facebook mobile phones and mobile phones to sell fentanel pills to a group of customers. The couple referred to the birth control pills as “Blues”, “30s,” PERCS, “Perxs” and “Yerks” on Facebook.

Prosecutors said that Salazar and Uruzco used their “different” devices and accounts by exchange: sometimes Oruzko responds to Salazar at its expense.

On July 24, 2021, the couple had a series of transactions with one person who bought a total of six pills. Then the buyer shared the pill with a young female, who died shortly after eating it from fentanel poisoning.

The US Public Prosecutor’s Office said that Salazar and Urugco, as well as the buyer who participated in the pill, knew that the pills contained fentanel.

According to what the couple continued to conspire and distribute drugs at least during March 2022, when they were arrested on charges of robbery. The office stated that both had distribution quantities of fentanel at the time of their arrest.

Salazar is scheduled to be judged on October 21, and OROZCO is scheduled to be sentenced to October 23.
