2 suspects arrested in deadly Riverside County shooting, robbery of 21-year-old man

Two suspects were arrested after a 21 -year -old man was stolen and shot in Riferside County.

On July 14, Sherif Valley Sharif’s deputies responded to a fatal weapon near Golden West Avenue and Kunador Drive shortly after midnight.

The deputies found the victim, Jose Martinez-21 years old, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. He died from his wounds after six days.

The suspects escaped from the scene before the deputies arrived. Investigators later identified Lorenzo Hossi Junior, 19, from Bloomington, as a suspect.

On July 18, he was detained during an inspection order in Bloomington. He was booked at the Robert Presley detention center to try to kill.

Investigators later learned that the victim had also been targeted in an armed robbery before shooting.

Armed robbery was identified as Darnell White, 19, from the Joroba Valley. On July 20, White was in his home and was arrested on charges of murder and theft.

No other details were launched, including the potential motivation or whether the victim and the suspects are known to each other.

The deadly accident is still under investigation.
