Austin – With Texas continues to recover from the flood of catastrophic independence day, the Texas Health and Human Services Committee is obligated to provide food, childhood formula, medical support, and emergency grants to rural hospitals.

Individuals who lost their medications in the floods are also newly qualified to fill their prescriptions early. This includes individuals registered in the Medicaid program, children who have private health care needs and the college’s health care program.
For any broader needs, TEXANS can apply for another help through the US Federal Emergency Management Agency program. Relief boxes can be used to repair and replace cars, transportation and storage, disaster medical needs, furniture, devices, child care, and other expenses.
