Homeless citizens pushing back against San Jose sweep

(Crohn) – San Jose city is preparing to remove nearly 1,000 people from the largest homeless camp in Columbus Park by August 18.

The residents of the camp, which was a long -term society for a person in San Jose, organizes to resist the survey. Local organizations formed a group called Grace – the residents of Guadalopy who defend society – to defend the affected people.

The camp in Columbus Park has become a temporary society for its residents, who are now facing uncertainty about their future. As the deadline approaches, unique individuals hold the city hall meetings to discuss their options.

Grace contacted city officials to attend the newly formed city hall meetings and address the resident questions, but they were rejected, according to email sent to Kron4 News. The city confirmed its plans to cleanse the park by the deadline, leaving many residents feel hearing.
