'Bank jugging' suspect escapes with thousands of dollars in Los Angeles theft

The residents are warned against staying on alert after a suspect in the “Rojah of the Bank” was seen stealing thousands of dollars from a car in the Pico Robertson neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The theft took place on July 7, when the victim, who was identified only as Robert, had withdrawn a large amount of money from one of America on the streets of Pico and Cisinga.

Robert placed the envelope of cash in his car and stopped quickly in a local grocery store. He knew little, he was watching very carefully through thieves.

The observation video was seized by a male suspect, breaking the window of the Robert car and soon dive into the back seat. The man is the envelope of criticism before fleeing from the area.

“I had a few thousand dollars,” said Robert Sandra Mitchell of KTLA. “It’s a lot of money. I’m not rich. I am working hard.”

Robert believes that the suspects were following him for some time.

“These men were definitely inside the Bank of America,” he said. “They are looking for someone and I am happening to be me.”

The authorities warn the public against “bankers” thieves whose strategy usually involves exiting banks to monitor customers who pull a large amount of money. In order to steal their personal property, they may follow the victims of their car or even to their home.

The police confirmed at least two prominent incidents of banks in Irvin last week, as investigators arrested four suspects outside the country regarding issues.

The authorities said that the plan has become a worrying trend in the country. In the Robert case, he is believed to have been targeted because he lives in a sophisticated neighborhood.

“This is Los Angeles in which we live,” he said. “In this field, we do not want to be amazed by these types of people, this type of criminals.”

Robert reported the theft to the Los Angeles Police Station. The suspect was not presented because the theft is still under investigation.
