1 airlifted after train, large vehicle crash in Gilpin County

Denver (KDVR) – One person was transferred to a hospital after a collision that includes a train and a large car in Gilbene Province on Monday.

The Jelabein Sharif Province office first published the accident at approximately 11 am, prompting several road closures in the area.

South Bever Street and Baktulas Lake Street have been closed, and Sharif’s office said that the 72nd Highway had been reopened.

A spokesman for the agency Fox31 told one person to have been transferred due to life -threatening injuries.

The accident seemed to have a amtrak train and a trail, part of which ended in Boulder Creek.

Amtrac said in a statement that Aminrak Train 5 was traveling from Chicago to San Francisco Bay when it collided with a large car west of Denver Monday morning. The company said that there are no reports of injuries in about 279 passengers and crew members on board.

“According to the Federal Railways Administration, rail crossing incidents are the second main cause of the railways associated with America. These accidents can affect all concerned-those who suffer from injury or die and their families, our train crews, and our passengers.

Amtrak Fox31 spokesman told the train to continue west after examining the tracks and train.
