Flagstaff, Aric. (AP)-The park said on Sunday that the historic hostel on the edge of the northern Grand Canyon was destroyed by a massive, rapidly move.
Ed Kabel, the garden supervisor, said that the only stay inside the park in North RIM was consumed by Flames. He said that the visitor center, the fuel station, the sewage treatment plant, an administrative building and some employee housing were among 50 to 80 lost structures.

Firefighters said that the park was initially running as a controlled burning, but then turned to repression because it quickly grown to 7.8 square miles (20 square kilometers) due to hot temperatures, low humidity and wind.
No injuries were reported.
Millions of people visit the Grand Canyon National Park annually, most of them went to the most popular southern edge. The northern edge is open season. It was evacuated last Thursday due to forest fires.
Firefighters in North RIM and Chekers were evacuated in the inner valley during the weekend. The park said, along with the dangers of fire, which could be exposed to chlorine gas after burning the treatment plant.
